This week’s #AvenuesIcon episode features Bertha Gyndykes Dkhar, an inspiring Shillongite who has spent most of her life fighting to raise the level of inclusivity of visually disabled people in education. AsMore someone who has a visual impairment disability herself, Bertha is currently Senior Co-ordinator of the Mainstreaming Disability Unit: Education at Bethany Society and Project Co-ordinator of the Regional Action on Inclusive Education North East.
